Anyones kids throw their bodies back

AJ has started to throw himself backwards. He does it if he's walking

and doesn't want to go where he's being guided. He does it when he's

on the floor playing and apparently not happy with something. He has

also been doing it at school. The PT wrote us a note and expressed

her concern that he may hurt himself. So how do we stop it? There is

not always an indication that he is unhappy. He could be playing one

minute and flinging himself back the next. And he does it really

hard! He has also taken to biting on tables and other wooden

surfaces. In addition he has been throwing tantrums where he hits and

bites. He went from being a pleasant little guy to a wriggling

handful. He does not understand no. And the only sign he does is

eat. We are at our wits end trying to figure out how to deal with

this. Any ideas?
