Guest guest
I am now the proud mother of an 'I have stayed dry all day' boy!!! Two wees in the potty today (and that's all he did all day!) No soggy pants, trousers, socks, " oh dear I'm wet " , etc, etc, etc. Result:- one calm, happy mummy. I know we haven't cracked it completely yet, but at least it's progress. Also, I got offered a promotion at work last night. Even though it's not exactly the job I want to do for the rest of my life (or even after my DS1 and 2 start school and I can work ordinary hours instead of unsocial ones!) I'm still chuffed, as a year ago I hadn't even pulled a pint and now they are offering to train me to run the pub in the managers absence. The money will be better too:o))))))))) Just when you feel everything is going wrong; it starts going right again! Aileen Mum to Mark 4 and a very, very, very clever 2 and 11 months P.S. I'll apologise now for my overuse of the exclamation mark!!!

Guest guest
I remember reading somewhere once that women use exclamations marks more than men ( not sure why). (gross overuser!!!) Guest guest
>I remember reading somewhere once that women use exclamations marks more >than men ( not sure why). My English teacher (male) used to say that an exclamation mark at the end of a funny sentence, instantly makes it no longer funny. For many years I avoided using them for this reason, but they crept back in sometime in my mid 20's, and now they are once again prolific in anything I write!!! Fortunately though, I never write anything that's intended to be funny. Newsletter Editor, Leighton Buzzard & District NCT SAHM to 19/9/97 and Caitlin 12/1/00. Guest guest
--- > I wouldn't mind being two years old atm > And me!!!!!!!!!!!! and me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!?!!!!!!!! also a user of 'nice' as in Eng Teacher " no intelligent gel uses the word 'nice' also (a generational thing?) really nice, really this 'n' that and I'd go for being three rather than two, less emotional turmoil and still no housework except maybe a bit of gentle tidy up time before bagpuss .... anyway, exclamation marks are email nuances of tone, hey no?!!! like ;-) etc
