Guest guest
Bumping this back up to the top. Val -- I dropped my HC a bit as I was speculating that my 30mg HC (sometimes more) was causing temps to remain low at 4grains of Armour -- so I SUPER SLOWLY started to reduce by 2.5mg. My thyroid labs came back excessively high - at the time I was at about 25mg HC/4grains. I backed off the Armour to 2.5grains a day and held the HC for a few weeks at 25mg and then dropped 2.5 every third week. My temps only dipped for a day or two with the reduction of 4grains back to 2.5grains -- and then went back to my normal 97.9. I am currently NOW at 20mg HC and 2.75 grains Armour. I am waiting to get bloods drawn in the next week or so. That said, my temps are starting to dip a bit (basal is much lower). While they are overall 'stable', and while I do not exhibit other low cortisol symptoms, I have experienced some lower back discomfort/pain over the last two weeks. I assume the back pain is adrenal -- but I was wondering if my lower temps could be that my Armour is not getting to the cells because of the lower HC dose? Thanks for your thoughts. > > Good morning, Val. > > It will be several more weeks before I can have my thyroid re-tested; > but about 4 weeks ago, at 4 grains and 25mg of HC, my Free T3 and Free > T4 came back extremely over range (I believe the top of the range was > in the 4's and my values were high 6's). But wihtotu seeing your temps I cannot say if it is low cortisol. Like -- crazy. Not only lack of movements but the consistency (sorry for the TMI). I took a stool softener yesterday because it is over three weeks of bad constipation and I needed to do something. > > >>I assume the back pain is adrenal -- but I was wondering if my lower > temps could be that my Armour is not getting to the cells because of > the lower HC dose?<< > > Constant back pain could be HYPO. Guest guest
Hmmm. Okay. I raised 1/4 grain almost two weeks ago to 2.75grains. I am going to try to tough it out a little bit before I raise again. I have been trying to get lab orders for two weeks -- but was away last week for the holiday and my doctor was out a day or two this week. OH! I forgot to note I have had headaches for the past week and I have not had those in months. > > Well it looks liek just hypo. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets >
Guest guest
Didn't you have high RT3? -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
Guest guest
Not yet -- waiting on that test...doctor wanted me to reduce Armour for a month and then get re-tested. He would not write orders till then. (you need to see me rolling my eyes -- if I am willing to pay for it -- just write the dang orders already.) I left messages AND faxed my wish list to him last week. > > Didn't you have high RT3? > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ > http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets >
