In the subject line put subscribe and in the message area put subscribe cysticfibrosis and your email address. On that list there are many older people with cf. The moderator of that list has cf himself and he is 70 years old. Don't take this the wrong way, you can check into that group if you would like. There is another larger group and you can find info on it at www.cystic-l.org As for me, I am the mom of 2 teenagers, Nick is 19 and does not have cf, and is 17 and has cf. We live in Orange CA where it is pretty hot right now. My daughter just left this morning for a trip to Europe with a school group. She isn't going to Scotland though, she is going to Paris first, then to Germany, Brussells, Rhineland, Cologne, Kolblenz, the Rhine River cruise,furt, Heidleburg,Munich, the Dachau Memorial, Neuschwanstein, another day in Munich, then to end the trip, Salzberg. Sounds pretty fast paced! I hope she does ok! Well it is nice to see you on this list and if you do check into those other lists I am there too, as well as many of us. It is wonderful. each is super.no reason not to be on them all. They have digest also so you don't get over whelmed. The CYSTIC-L@... is large and folks are all ages and from all countries as well as there is allot more comforting to see others in the same situation as yourself ..gosh, they are all so very nice . Thank you for your e mail! I have 2 boys with CF. 2 boys without. First son diagnosed at a year, second at 1 month. How come it took 18 years for the Doc'c to diagnose you?
