Guest guest
Thank you , I do have triamcinolone cream. Is there any place to put it that works best. Anyplace I should not put it? I assume abdomen is best? Also, I haven't yet taken HC. Is 5mg HC ~ to 2 Isocort pills? I hear that Isocort is more like 2.5mg per pill, and not really 5mg. I can't get out today, disability prevents me going out when it's this cold, so I hope this is okay to use. >>>It wopuld be easier on your body to use HC 1% cream in stead. 1/4 tsp equals 10MG HC. Guest guest
I've been saying to keep cortisone cream well away from eyes, because that is what my eye doctor told me. He said getting cortisone cream in eyes can cause cataracts fast. Is this not true? If it is true, I'd be worried putting HC cream on the face might lead to transfer of it to the eyes accidentally. sol T wrote: > I have no idea the steroid potency of that cream so you are on your own! > Inner arms and face are also good places for creams ot absorb well,.thin > skinned areas. > >

I ahve used them in my kitty's eye before when she injured it.. no cataracts there and she was on it for 3 weeks 4 times daily. . -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I wondered about steroid eye drops, thought I remembered there is such a thing. Sheesh. You would not believe how obsessively I've been washing my hands after applying the cream, LOL. Not that I would put this cream in my eyes because of all the other ingreds, but its a relief to know I can quit being worried I didn't get it off my hands well enough. thanks, sol wrote > Funny they make yee drops with steroids in them.... Guest guest
> He said getting cortisone cream in > eyes can cause cataracts fast.<< > > Funny they make yee drops with steroids in them > Hmm, sounds like the perfect business idea to me - make eye drops that give people cataracts, then employ the doctors to remove them <sinister cackle>.. Kind of like the possibility of putting some pro- *yellowing* agent in the water or something, in order to sell tooth- whitening things. (I actually think the " yellowing of America " is because of electric toothbrushes - they seem quite good at getting between teeth, but not as good as a manual brush at scrubbing plaque off the front - which is why I use both Jim
