Guest guest
>>Only my morning cortisol has been tested and it was all good. The afternoons I tend to need a nap and taking the 5mg hc helps this. Then I was fine for the rest of the day. Not so now though. Taking too much more HC makes me tired.<< How " good " was your AM cortisol? Where the doc said ti was good? What was the numbers? SOry but most don't knwo SQUAT abotu what is good AM cortiosl. The fact it made you tired tells me it is not good, as it is stopping the adrenlaine you are running on. Once you stay on it a week or two at high enough doses, that effect will leave. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I had my a.m. serum cortisol tested and it came back " normal " (19.4 in a range of 4-22. One month later, I had saliva testing done and I found I was is stage 6 adrenal exhaustion. So there you go.... Guest guest
, No, I had fasted. I just think the process of serum testing the am cortisol is inaccurate. I had daily, intense nausea, I could have been a poster child for adrenal exhaustion, every symptom in the book. When the Endo FINALLY agreed to test my cortisol, I made sure I followed prep orders exactly. The reslts I got were NOT reflective of what was going on in my body and when I finally ordered the saliva kit, I found that the results were drastically different in terms of my Am cortisol. My salivia showed my cortisol flatlined. This was only a few weeks after taking the blood test.My DHEA test was pretty close though. Guest guest
- What a discrepency with am blood cortisol! You look very high on the blood. Jeesh, you must have to be nearly dead which I know many of us feel, in order for it to show in blood! --- wrote: > , > No, I had fasted.
