Guest guest
>william strong >I have wondered if we could not catalog the exercise regimen of our >group. I'll throw in my regimen as it is a large part of my life. I have been working out with weights pretty consistently for about 25 years. My current regimen consists of moderately hardcore workouts using a Bowflex (no snickering - it works <g>). My wife is also an exercise addict and we have an elliptical trainer that we regularly use for aerobics. Workouts while in afib are very difficult for me and are essentially just " going thru the motions " . Exercising (especially the elliptical trainer) has returned NSR on many occasions. Guest guest
I know some people have reported on this site that exercise has caused them problems, however, I have found it benficial (in resonable moderation of course) I'm currently going to teh gym 4 - 5 times a week, i do an hour session on treadmill (30min) cycle (15min) and rowing machine (15 min) i may sometimes do some wieght work on machines. I do come out in a sweat without actaully running myself out of breathe....I'm in AFIB persistent, or all the time whatever way it's defined (Sotolol and wafarin)
Guest guest
I'm in persistent afib and I jog 5-6 miles daily. I run at about 7 mph pace. I also do 20 pushups every day and 5 minutes of upper body work with weights. 99% of the time I do not feel the afib, but it's always there. warfarin lipitor
