As a matter of fact my Mom couldn't stop talking about how nice she was the rest of the way to TN. :o) By the way YOU LOOK GREAT!!! I jus wish we had more time to stay and visit but it was a long trip.

Thanks soooo much Sue!!!! I really enjoyed meeting you and your family also!!! Give a hug for me, I hope she feels better soon.

Dear ,

Wow!! There should be a Century Club for inches as well, huh...? LOL

Congratulations on your terrific loss of body inches. Sometimes those

inches are more telling than the scales. Losing inches means gaining muscle

tone and losing flab!

Tote that bail!

Love you,

Where red. Listen to that song a lot before you go to the party. YOu

know " LAdy In Red " . I don't know who sings it. It is an awesome

song. My hubby loves me in a red blouse with high heels and white

pants. I feel very sexy in it too. I am a size 22-24 blouse and trust

me size doesn't make a difference if you think you are sexy you are

sexy. The color red always has and always will make me feel that

way. Go for it girlfriend!!!!!

Sorry to hear about all the new complications Toni. You need to take a deep

breath and take it one day at a time for a while. I had an MRI and I agree

they suck but they also save lives so we do what we have to do and go on. IM

sure as time goes on the doctors will come up with better information for you.

For now they are not sure either so its all guesses right now. With

technology the way it is they will get a handle on your condition and they will

take

care of you. As for the rest I for one will be praying for you and your health.

Its easy to say relax but trust me that is the best thing for you now untill

you have a handle on exactly what is wrong and how they want to fix.

Be well and hugs to you,

Toni,

Hang in there. We're rootin' for you. A friend recently was diagnosed with 'a

growth' on her pancreas. Frightening if you let it get to you. After a battery

of tests it was concluded that it likely was a (benign) cyst.

Moral: Don't panic yet. Everything may be all right! And if not the physicians

have a path forward, not the greatest but--hard as it may seem--even in that

eventuality consider yourself fortunate. Many face worse.

May your angels be with you.

Update

Hi All ...

, and Just wanted to give you all another update. Had my MRI last Thursday

I am terrified. I've been working so hard on maximizing the emotional growth

and positive changes having a terminal diagnosis for 2 and a half days caused

(have to find something positive in the hell I went through). Now I feel

like I've been kicked in the head. I may even have a terminal diagnosis back.

I'm severely claustrophobic, so even having the MRI was an hour-long

nightmare.

The whole time I kept telling myself " it's OK, this is the last step to a

clean bill of health " etc. Then to get this news is just more than I can cope

with. I'm running on empty emotionally and I am very tired of being so

scared.

Hey Tony

It is tough to get a difficult diagnosis.

It is important to remind yourself of the emotional growth you have

accomplished . Keep up the fight .

Try this site of guided meditation by Dr Dean Ornish . My experiance

is that it is very helpfull in stressful times .I am sure the

doctors have the best plan.

Hi,

I went the my cardiologist yesterday and of course he was so much

in a rush(not reading my history or any other information in my file)

he immediately said that I had two options. Med treatment or

ablation. I asked him how he knows that ablation is a good choice

for me. They only did an echocardiogram. He said that an echo is the

only test that they can do and that mine was fine so my atrial fib

is ideopathic. No known cause. And that is supposed to make me feel

comfortable with having a fairly risky surgical procedure done to my

heart? I asked him what I should do in the meantime if I have an

attack. He said that I should take 50mg of Toprol right when my next

episode starts and it should slow my heart down. I wonder how long

that will take? Does anyone do this?

I meet with the doctor who performs the ablations on Nov 15th. I

hope that I have more confidence in this procedure after I talk with

him, than I did with the cardiologist. I'm not in a " oh, let's try

this and see if it works " frame of mind right now.
