Hi, I would also be interested in knowing and chatting with anyone else who

has pituitary problems and or a tumor. Thru an injectable MRI this summer

they discovered a tumor on my pituitary - I will have to have another MRI

done in Feb. to see if it is growing - there doesn't seem to be a whole lot

of info out there on this.

I asked my Endro yesterday about Aldosterone - don't think I got a very good

answer if any...

What were your symptoms and test results to have the MRI done? What

kind of treatment did they recommend for having the tumor? I've been

wondering if that might be what I'm dealing with.

I wonder if there's really any doctor out there who understands

aldosterone??

Hi Frannie,

Would you mind sharing what symptoms you had before you were

diagnosed? I'm suspecting my pituitary for a lot of my issues but my

current doctor just seems to be treating the symptoms and doesn't

seem interested in what's causing them. He told me that some time ago

I basically " blew a fuse in my hypothalamus " . I really don't know

what that means! He recognizes my hypopituitarism, but doesn't take

it any further.

I would love to hear more of your history if you feel like sharing.

Thanks!
