Hi Val and everyone.

I have been trying to get temps stable, so came down off t3 and on

cortef as advised was doing ok for 3 days.

Then added 10 mg t3

I have been taking sea salt 3 x day 1/2 teaspoon (since I added

pottassium salt to food leg cramps have gone.)

I have been monitoring blood pressure as I think you said if it

dropped again on standing go back up on cortef. It did so increased

cortef and stopped t3.

The thing is my temps average is very high for me, yet I still feel

terrible and am on no t3

Can you look at my temps etc and tell me what you think is

happening - I do not have a cold or anything.

History for information

Migraines from before I could speak till early 20's. Lived on

Aspirin.

Ill for years, Tonsils out, glandular fever, head injury and severe

whiplash 1988. Told at this time would never walk without a limp

again and would never have the concentration to hold down a full

time job. By 1995 was running half marathons and had qualified as an

accountant working as financial director to a large firm.

Then started to go down hill, pains and aches and tiredness getting

worse and worse.

June 2005 tested again for thyroid TSH and T4 results TSH 0.69 T4 19

told go away and take amitryptiline - started own research

Did wilsons for 18 months and had good improvement – Dr stopped

doing it.

Found Dr Peatfield and tried armour, He said:

Hypothyroid for years may be primary or secondary to pituta3et

damage.

Low adrenal reserve – clinical for some years

Thinks systemic Candida – Candida all sorted.

Tried armour and got thyro toxic at same time took glandular adrenal

supplement building up to 6 a day.

Under Dr P's instructions came off armour and on to T3 started to

improve but temps never stabilised, lots of symptoms went, but not

all.

Started HC and worked up to 20mg and 160mg T3 was much improved able

to exercise, interested in life pain much less, had bad stressful

situation and temps still not stable. Started getting more symptoms

again. Since then been off all t3 and up and down on cortef.
