Guest guest
Tonight I was sitting watching the CNN Debates, and I awoke having an 'attack;. I felt like I was having a seizure with severe shaking. I immediately took 10mg of HC..and feel weird pressure in my head. The shaking has stopped but muscles still are weak. Is this from a lack of HC..and why would it happen when I am falling asleep? I am feeling nervous and anxious. Guest guest
Helen it could be from sleep apnea. as well! Sleep apnea if it si bad enough causes a release of adrenaline much the same as low cortisol would and can be very disturbing an would give the same sympotms. Guest guest
I have constant surges of adrenaline going thru me. This is an on-going problem. It's as if I am in fight or flight all the time even when there's no reason to be. How can one decrease norepinephrine when it is being over-produced? What supplements or medications can decrease norepinephrine or adrenaline? Re: Attack - Val Cortidol helps your body handle ANY stress and an adrenaline rush is a huge stressor. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/

Guest guest
, It was the adrenalin rushes constantly during the day that made me finally get my adrenals tested. My cortisol is low at the exact time of day that I have all of the adrenalin. My cortisol is good at night & I never have the adrenalin at night. For me it was low cortisol that caused the adrenalin. Guest guest
There are a # of us on the Power-Surge board who are dealing with the " excess adrenaline " feeling..There are any # of reasons, but Graves Disease, excess androgens, pheochromcytoma are a few..Cortisol has helped some of them..has not helped others. What I ended up doing was tracking things hormonally until I narrowed it down..for me it was increased TSI antibodies AND high free testosterone...sometimes irrespective of actual thyroid levels. > > Cortidol helps your body handle ANY stress and an adrenaline rush is a > huge stressor. > > -- > Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV > > http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ > http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ >
Guest guest
I have increased testosterone. How can we decrease testosterone? Mine is off the charts. Dr. Arem says that HypoT is associated with low testosterone and HyperT with high testosterone. What other things can cause it and how can it be reduced? Guest guest
My adrenaline is always surging thru me. It is almost a way of life for me 24/7. It finally exhausts me to the point that I thankfully collapse into sleep by 9:30. Guest guest
I've had that since my early teens, that out of control surge, I didn't know it was abnormal until I was an adult. I still get it whenever I'm angry. That 'why am I over-reacting?' feeling. I know my reaction is out of proportion, but I can't stop it. The HC seems to be helping a little, but it hasn't stopped completely. 8( > My adrenaline is always surging thru me. It is almost a way of life for > me 24/7. Guest guest
This is interesting. Not only did I have the low cortisol but I also had high Testosterone.
