Guest guest Posted December 31, 2004 Report Share Posted December 31, 2004 Hi Cheryl, thank you for your reply and helpfull suggestions I did already ask my ENT about tubes, both my own ENT and the one I saw before him (a fast visit with a ENT who was available before mine was). Both said tubes were not necessary. If by February the fluid is still there I will be more agressive about it. I think part of the problem is there is currently a big wait list for tube surgery here, but gosh somethign must be able to be done as it cannot keep going on like this it will really mess Ricky up! There is not much I can do right now anyway as I am stuck having to wait till February 2nd when I see the ENT again, Ricky will finish a 10 day antibiotic he has been takign go help clear the fluid. The audiologist says it could take as long as 6 wks to get rid if it after the meds have stopped. Wow......
