Hello Valarie: Thought I was doing a little better on working up to 8 pellets

Isocort, then woke at 4:00 AM today very nervous - ready to go ballistic. I had

to take a sedative to calm down and go back to sleep.

I'm trying to figure out what I did differently. I did take 200 mg

Phosphatidylserene before bed thinking it would lower cortisol enough that I

would quit waking at 4:00, or 5:00 or 6:00. Also celebratedPastor's birthday at

church last night with cake and ice cream. I've never known that to bother me,

and am not aware of any sugar problems, never really have any cravings and

pretty much stay away from sweets.

Maybe I should post labs, as I thoughtmaybe cortisol went too low last night.

Morning l7.2H 3.7-9.5

Noon l.7 l.2-3.0

evening l.6-0.6-l.9

night 0.5 0.4-l.0 Cortisol saliva

Thank you so very much,

Pat

Re: Blood Pressure

>>Tonight blood pressure is l58/98 forno reason. I raised Isocort yesterday

from 6pelletsto 7. Guess I'll hold off on bedtime dose tonight. Can you

recommend any remedy.I haven't been on thyroid for a month or more.<<

Can you post your cortisol testing again? What all do you take, including

supplements?

TWO biggies. You are lowering night time cortisol too much which causes

no only low cortiosl tat 4AM but then you did the biggie and ate sugar

in the PM. Further cause for nypoglycemia at 4AM between the two you

were guaranteed to have adrenaline rush at 4AM. Stop the PS and possibly

take some Isocort at bedtime if you have it, and NO high carb foods

after about 5PM. Also eationg protein at bedtime helps.
