Guest guest
Hello, my name is DeEtte. My husband, Junior, was diagnosed with Shy-Drager in 1998. He has experienced many symptoms from vocal chord paralysis to bladder problems and is now using a walker and wheelchair to get around. He has been on medication for low blood pressure for about 1 year including proamatine (2 x 2.5mg in AM) and in past few weeks florinef was added (1 x .1mg in AM). Just recently his blood pressure readings have been as high as 211/105 (sitting) and as low as 70/57 (standing). Have tried to call his neurologist, his internist, and Vanderbilt University to get more input on what can be done to regulate this abnormal blood pressure and our only answer was to wait until his next appointment with his internist (next week). We're very anxious to get more answers, so just wondering if anyone else has any suggestions or input on this. Thanks for your help.
