I recently wrote " Just get the Flu shot " on this board about a week or so ago " I thought I would add a point that may clear up some things. In Alberta Canada we have social medicine. The Flu shot costs ordinary folk $US 7.50 . " At risk " individuals, which includes people with AF get the shot free. This year for the first time of 12 or so shots, I plan to take advantage of this saving.I had a high-fever illness (not the flu) that drove my AF to persistence just over 2 years ago. We are on a well and are very blessed by having good water. I often wonder if the chlorinated water I grew up on caused my dental problems (cavities & breaking teeth). B God Bless America! Our immune systems are not funcitoning correctly anyway and alm ost all of them have mercury besides being dangerous forus. My husband had open heart to replace a valve 18 MOS prior to having both pneumonia/flu shots. His doc scared him into getting them.....We had no way of knowing he had a small tumor in his lungs thus his immune system was already fighting something. He had just turned 50. I was on Synthroid at the time, but haven't had a shot since! Since than whenever I get flu virus, shot place starts aching. That is so strange. I don't know what happened? if some flu virus trapped in tissue and still there or some kind of sensitivity developed(Why?)? Strange.
