Thanks, Jim *********Snip Jim I had to take soy completely out of my diet. I was a big soy eater before. I noticed after consuming soy I also had many PVC's and a racing heart at times. IM not 100 percent sure it was the soy as I was having a lot of afib at the time but I took it out. I love it but decided to try without. I also did a googol search on the dangers of soy and they helped me make my decision. a in Massachusetts NSR Sotalol 80mg x 2 Warfarin 4mg
Guest guest
Thanks and a, this is VERY interesting (sorry to hear about your Thyroid , I was on amiodarone for 14 months and my throid started going, and my doctor took me off it). I'm looking forward to hearing from other folks about the whole soy issue. Aloha Jim

Guest guest
I had no problems going off amiodarone other than being in contstant afib. After I was off amiodarone for several months they started me on tikosyn and it worked pretty well for a couple of years. I went in for an ablation and came off the tikosyn in order to do it, but unforunately the ablation didn't work because they got in there and mapped everything out but couldn't cardiovert me to finish the job. so I went back on tikosyn and went back for a second ablation 3 months later that worked well in combination with the tikosyn. I was in NSR pretty much solid for a year after healing from the ablation. The second year I was still in NSR 95% of the time. I have a little afib now and then but am still doing pretty well.
