Hi

Started the HC cream yesterday took 10 mg tablet first thing then 30 mg cream

rest of day over 4 more doses, felt no different.

This morning took blood glucose at 6.30 was 5.1 - what does this mean? (range

says 3.3 to 13.3 so presume good?)

put on 10mg hc cream then decided had sore throat and took 5mg hc tablet.

By 7.30 was feeling sick and dizzy.

Had protein pancake and took blood glucose at 8am was 4.8 - help what does

this mean.

Feel ok now at 9.30, just normal pain, fatigue etc.

Was sickness? too much Hc? start of cold? fatigue? due to pain? Do I need to

be worried? Should I take my next dose of HC?

bp 99/62 sitting

bp 94/64 standing

Sorry Val

I seem to ask loads of questions and never get this straight.

Thanks

Caroline

I am on no t3 at present trying to stabalise temps.

Temps average last few days:

98.1 97.4 98.4 96.0

Any advice<<

Caroline, I do nto think you are absorbing the HC properly, nto from these temps

on that high a dose. Can you try HC cream? Try it slowly like 1 dose (largest

dose first) in the AM and see hiw you feel then? I cannto in all conscience

recommend oyu go any higher.

I am not familiar wiht this way of measuring glucose, But from the ranges I

owuld say it is fine.

What TIME did you take the HC and what TIME did the symptoms appear?

How long after food idd you test glucose? Food timing with glucose readings is

necessary as there is a digestion curve which also creates an insulin/glucose

curve.

From your BP I would say oyu are close to right dose but not quite there.. a

little MORE.

I took the first HC 10 mg cream at 6.45 am ish then about 10 mins later took a

5 mg tablet by 7.30 was dizzy and feeling sick.

About 1/2 hour

From your BP I would say oyu are close to right dose but not quite there.. a

I took another 5mg hc cream at 12 noon, should have been 10mg at 11 am but

have felt unwell all day so too scared to take full 10mg. At moment I have

severe neck pain and feel unwell. Thing is this could be just how I am or a

reaction to the cream working better than the tablets.

Not sure what to do, am going to have a bath and go to bed because of the

pain, but would you use cream or go back to tablets for hc for rest of day?

How do I tell if this is too much hc because of change to cream?

Thanks

Caroline

I would say it took longer than usual for the cream to absorb and your body is

used ot havin g the HC quicker, which is why you felt OK later on.

About 1/2 hour <<

1/2 hour nothing but sugars may be digested. it takes at least 1-2 hours for

most food to peak the glucose in the blood thne it is a alow curve back to

normal. Your reading wiht what you ate was fasting.

Too much you wil just feel BETTER at first, I would take pills the rest of the

day..less shock to your systrem. Only change out ONE dose at a time. Your

symptoms sound ALL low cortisol high would be HIGH BP, Fluid retention, puffy

face, and will take a few dyas to surface.
