Drink lots ot mint teas as it relaxes whole being. Probably shouldn't but sweeten it with a mixture containing aspartame (phenylalnine) which boosts mood. I'm using it sparingly, but wish my moods would return to normal ao Ican illiminate it. I know this is probably a shotgun approach, but theformulas doctors shove at me too expensive. I use themfor a time then have to formulate my own. Blessings to uou, Pat Re: Blood Pressure >>Tonight blood pressure is l58/98 forno reason. I raised Isocort yesterday from 6pelletsto 7. Guest guest
Yes Val, I may not have mentioned I've been working up to 7 pellets of Isocort past two days, but after pressure rise di'n't take bedtime. Have not taken thyroid for months - other than trials I've had to back off of pretty quickly because of the mania. Thank's so much, Pat Re: Blood Pressure >>Tonight blood pressure is l58/98 forno reason. I raised Isocort yesterday from 6pelletsto 7. Guess I'll hold off on bedtime dose tonight. Guest guest
WOW that is quite a coctail of meds you are taking. I suspect you are haivng probalem with interactions. I woud definitely stop the Ashwaganda which can cause high or low BP. And the DHEA, were you low in it? If not stop that as well. And SOY ISOFLAVONES.. BIG NO NO!!! They can elevate estrogen which DOES cause high BP. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Another thing I see missing from your supplements that most hypothyroid people really need is Magnesium. Potassium may also help lower BP as well, but I think you would be better to getthat in high potassium foods rather than supplement it as it is easy to go overboard with supplementing it. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Thank you so much. Valarie. I haven't been taking the soy isoflavones long, so I'll bet that i.s contributing to HPB big time. I was hoping to raise estrogen level a bit, but it's not worth that. I haven't had DHEA tested so will also stop that. I just forgot to list magnesium - it is important. Also do some people have bad reactions to B Vitamins, folic acid and iron. I felt horrible for awhile after lunch today, but better by 3:00. I used to lay awake some nights with my head buzzing so I just take a multiple in the morning, but since I've probably got low ferritin, I take the Floridax. I suspect it gave methe buzzy, anxious feeling this afternoon Pat Re: Blood Pressure Another thing I see missing from your supplements that most hypothyroid people really need is Magnesium. Guest guest
I would not guess at Ferritin! High iron can be very dangerous. I do nto take multi;s simply cause they are useless! LOL There is not enough in them to correct any deficiency and there may be more of somethingin ther ethat you do not need. I would rather supplement what i know I need. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Hi : I may need to pay more attention to magnesium and potassium.. Maybe try to get the potassium in foods as much as possible. Thank's Pat Re: Blood Pressure Pat, Have you tried Magnesium? And are you getting enough potassium? Guest guest
You're right, Val, there never seems to be enough amounts of the nutrientas you want in a multiple. I'll bet someone is working on formulating something that we don't have a myriad of bottles to shuffle around, but probably not affordable for many of us.
