What you need is a steady replacement of the cortiosl your body is not making. For this Hydrocortisone in doses of 20-35MG daily is the BEST way to treat it as it dfoesn't shut down your own production of cortiosl . that 50MG Pred dose will totally supress your own cortiosl, and your adrenals. Whether they can come back from that is DOUBTFUL. Guest guest Posted November 23, 2007 Report Share Posted November 23, 2007 HI , I understand I msut take HC after the Pred. but in order for me to get a read on the issues I am having I have two weeks that I must be of all of it. In the mean time since I am in alot if pain and fatigue bow off the Pred. what can I do? Do not set time limits or you will make yourself VERY ill. Taper off them as quickly as you can wihtotu crashing your adrneals so badly that you never recover.
