Guest guest
No, but a lot of people here (Southern AZ) drive to Mexico for treatments and meds. There are a lot of good Mexican pharmacies but I guess you have to know what you want and the right pharmacies, which I really don't. I was going to go to Tijuana for some tooth work but then I found out my dentist has since gotten sloppy in his work so I am looking for a new one. I do order meds from Mexico though. Also New Zealand and Canada. Cheri Anyone Driven to Tijuana To Buy Meds? I can't be the only gringo in southern Cali who has considered this option. I am unsure about the reputation of tourist pharmacies along the boarder. Has anyone used this method? Are the medications safe? Tasia . Guest guest
Tasia, Many people in my area do. This last year was the first time did it myself. For me it was Juarez, went for dental work plan to go back in January. It is best if you know just what you are needing , Mexican name, along with how much it should cost. When you find a good one ask if they have a web site or an e-mail. One pharmacist gave me his email and card so can e-mail him before arriving with my wants and needs so he can make sure to have them in stock. If the item is Mexican made it is much cheaper than if they import the product. Many items are not available there. Penicillin is really cheap that is the major item people around my area purchase. The ones along the border will do much better by you as this is how they make a living along with being the only reason they are located there. If you can find a Spanish speaking friend to go with you the prices will be much cheaper. From: cr8zytasia I can't be the only gringo in southern Cali who has considered this option.
