E - I am no expert AT ALL, but I am thinking you may need to lower your meds a bit. Overmedication can cause the symptoms you are having. I know it IS scary to think about lowering a bit, but it can make a positive difference. I recently went from 180 mg Armour, to 150 mg and I am feeling ALOT better. The best I've felt in a while.

TSH. .01T3f 1.9 (.8-1.8)T4f 568 (230-420)With labs like this you might expect I would feel hyper. Instead I'm still battling low temps 97's mostly and have low energy, with fibro pains. Bp and pulse are good. Headaches are improved. YAY:) Is it just a matter of time before this dose kicks in? I've been taking 60 mcgs synthetic/150 mgs armour for 8 weeks now. What should I be thinking about here?~E:)

I was referring to your synthetics and armour dosage....not lowering it alot, but just a little, mine was only lowered 30 mg. I take 60 at 6am, 60 at 2pm and 30 at 8pm. That is just ME, and each one of us individually need to do alot of tweeking to figure out what works best.

Wow, if you're not having hyper symptoms with those kinds of readings,

particularly that T4, then I'm wondering if you're not having a heck of a

time with cellular receptors not taking it up. It may be a good thing that

the Free T3 is higher, as this may " flood " the receptors and eventually help

with that. This is all IMO and the various readings on different medical

opinions I've seen online. Is your pulse staying at around or below 75-80,

but not higher than around 85? We were just having a discussion on the

fibro on another board, with a reference to Derry's take on the old

fashioned ways of determining actual thyroid hormone needs, dating back to

the 1830s or so.

Latest Labs please help!!!:)

ERROR FIX (I was taking (60 mcgs sythetic/120 mgs Armour) I've bumped it to just after the lab results came in last week. I think...I'm topping out my ability to take in more hormone. I think that may be what I need to do. I think you may be onto something. For the last couple of weeks I've been thinking "flooding the tissues" may be in order here, to overcome tissue resistance. My cortisol is only under range at night (if you beleive in spit tests), but I think the test indicate stress. I also think its possible cortef might help, and it may be worth a wild stab.:) When I say my pulse is good I really mean the BP. For a long time I was getting reading of 110/60 mostly. I so wanted to see that come up. Finally now..its getting to be (116/72 and 128/76...and 125/76). So

that to me is a huge accomplishment. Now the pulses...always seem to be fluctuating...but often times they are quite a bit higher. (96, 85,78,75,86,96). I think it depends if I just took my armour or not...and if I just ate or was moving around. YES...I'm fibro-pained out. Its excessive and VERY hard to tolerate. Asprin, Tylenol, Aleve....none of these even touch the pain. I don't even bother to take them. I do have issues sleeping...and staying asleep. Got a bit of leg movement going on. I take two showers a day..to warm up. The chills I get are painful. Like million of cold needles stabbing in an out. Then suddenly I'm sweaty/clammy feeling..then once again battling the creepy

crawly chills. I feel perpetually thirsty too.:) I don't have diabetis. I just had my fasting glucose taken and its good.:) Thankfully. Do you have any suggestions on how one could overcome tissue resistance? ~E:)

I know I'm maxed out with what the body can take

anyway. . ...probably a slight back-down will be the answer. Maybe its a puch through (to wake up the cells) back down kind of thing? I hope I'm close. Does one just pop awake...all of a sudden like an animate jack in the box or something. I hope so...I feel so lethargic and

sad.:( Thanks MArie! ~E:)
