Guest guest
I've never even seen a recipe for cooking with avocados. I'd think they'd get icky if you cooked them. ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comR http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! Guest guest
When I send my husband to the supermarket, I tell him that it should be firm, with a little softness to it. Not hard, and not mushy either. I don't cook with them, but I put them in salads, dips & spreads. And what's wrong with asparagus?? Steamed or grilled with a little butter melted on them? YUM!! ------------------------------------------------ Terry Mayers 5DollarHosting.comR http://www.5dollarhosting.com (877)-838-HOST / .... because it shouldn't cost a fortune to make a fortune! R Re: Gazpacho, Ole`! *** OK...I like just about any kind of veggie out there (with the exception of okra and asparagus), but how do you know what to look for when buying an avacado? Are they eaten mostly cold or do you cook with them too? L in Ohio **** > I just had one last night....OMG so good.
