Guest guest
Yes, my Dad and son are...but they do not see things...lol Hi H Well there are differing abilities in this realm. You are obviously clairvoyant. And you and your Dad and son probably have healing ability as well as it seems to go hand-in-hand with being a 'sensitive'. My son is clairaudient (though he has 'lost' it these days. I am sure it will return one day. I remember him telling me when he was about 10 years old and he was hearing monks singing - he wanted them to shut up so he could get to sleep LOL) and I said I cannot hear anything. And that happened several times and then I discovered that we lived (in Friars Lane!!!) on the site of an old monastery. I discussed with him that that he might be clairaudient and I asked him if anything unusual like this had happened before. Don;t think so he said, except that nice lady who used to talk to me when I got lost in the supermarket and could not find you when I was little. ??? I said! What lady. He used to run around a huge supermarket when he was about 4 or 5 and I was getting the shopping in the trolley. He said this lady's voice always spoke to him when he started to get a bit worried when he could not find me and she would tell him which way to go to find me. WOW! I was stunned. And I said why did you not tell me this before. Because you did not ask me he answered LOL He just saw it as perfectly normal and so it was for him. I am mostly clairsentient in that I pickup other people's emotions mostly and sometimes their ailments. Now this WAS a very major difficulty for me until I realised what I was dealing with and, before I became ill, it was a very useful too when working as a psychotherapist with clients because I knew what they were feeling because I was already feeling it with them. It made is easier for clients to open if I were to say something like - I am feeling really frightened right now, is that what you are feeling? Inevitably it would open the floodgates to expressing whatever feeling it was that was causing distress. It happend (this clairsentient thing) on instant messenger just a couple of days ago too when I IM'd a friend and she said I am just talking on the phone and will get straight back to you. I immediately felt overwhelmed with depression and sadness (which I knew did not belong to me as i was feeling particularly chirpy) and all was revealed when my friend called me back and said she was very upset as she had been talking to her boyfriend on the phone and he was just telling her he had to go to Brazil for weeks on business and she was so depressed and sad that she would not see him for a long time. I have had the odd clairvoyant experience too and I was scared because I did not understand. I wonder if I would still be scared if I had a 'visitor' today? I just don't know. Now how this all ties in with the adrenals I do not know but I would give my left leg to find out Helen. Mo
Guest guest
actually it ties in with being hypo. In a book called 'Your Sixth Sense' by Belleruth Naparstek, she did a study of people with psychic abilities and they had various illnesses and experiences in common. Hypothyroidism was one of them. I'm claircognizant, clairsentient and occasionally clairaudient and make my living as a psychic. I believe my abilities are stronger when my thyroid meds are optimized. Wow that's really interesting. So it ties in with hypoT as well. Suppose that should not be too much of a surprise as they work hand in hand anyway. Is claircognizant the same as clairvoyant? Haven't heard that expression before. So do you have any thoughts on the WHY of this? Mo

Guest guest
claircognizance is when you just suddenly 'know' something. as a teen I used to get in all kinds of trouble blurting out things without realizing it, and a room full of people would suddenly go silent until someone would say 'how the hell did you know *that?*' lol I wish I knew the whys and hows of it. I had a friend who was struck by lightening and she said that was when her abilities came to her, she could touch people and tell what illnesses they had. I have no idea what that ability would be called exactly unless it falls under clairsentience. I had a Near Death Experience, but it was long after I already had abilities. My husband's previous wife was psychic as all get-out and I believe was driven insane by visions she didn't understand. She was extremely hypo and did not treat at all. Both my son and my stepdaughter are extremely intuitive and I've just recently started working with them to develop their abilities. We're probably venturing way into OT, but anyone who wants to email me, I'll chat about this for hours. I'll be in and out today, but I'll answer all emails. 8) > > > So do you have any thoughts on the WHY of this? > > > . > > >
Guest guest
This clairvoyant/psychic stuff usually goes hand in hand with high copper women who also develop adrenal problems because it goes hand in hand with adrenal exhaustion and it also stresses the thyroid. It's really due to the copper building up in the brain and liver. I am a high copper woman and found all this out going to the Pfeiffer Treatment Center in Chicago where they specialize in copper toxicity. The high copper person is highly sensitive, intuituitive, naive, and child-like (note: not childish but " childlike " . There are many articles written by Drs. Larry and Eck who devoted their entire careers to the " high copper personality " you can find them by googling. Here is one to get you started. As you scroll down he describes the " copper personality " http://www.drlwilson.com/articles/copper_toxicity_syndrome.htm Re: Adrenals and psychic sensitivity actually it ties in with being hypo.
