Guest guest
Sinus and adrenals are intricately related. I suspect this is low cortisolas it also lowers your immune system aand it is the body;s anti-inflammatory h9ormone so anythign can cause inflammation in the body when it is low. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
I start every day with a runny nose now. It stops after my first dose of HC and Armour in the AM. Don't know whether it's from the adrenals or thyroid, but sounds like adrenals and similar to the phlegm that you are experiencing. > > Sinus and adrenals are intricately related. Guest guest
Hi Jaydee. I did that too before I got on Armour. I also have a parathyroid cyst and when it gets big, it pushes up against my windpipe and that makes me cough a lot in the mornings. I also used to have bad acid reflux and coughing can be an atypical symptom of reflux. I have even been able to stop Nexium altogether -- thanks to Armour -- and I was taking 2 Nexiums a day. Annie/Texas build up of histamines... I wake every morning and until 10 or so I am " clearing my throat " . Apparently there is a build up of histamines, but I do not understand the cause. Can someone enlighten me? This is surely not healthy and I am sure it is indicative of some other problems. I have hypo-t and a not yet clearly identified deficiency (working on that) with adrenals and I am gaining weight. By 4pm I can feel something building in the chest again, and a deep breath will make me cough. This cont. till morning again. I am taking a very low dose cortef until I know the exact nature of the adrenals disorder. I do not want to harm them further or harm the pituitary. I am sure no genius in this field. I am just good at repeating what I heard thus far. If anyone can shed some light here, please do. Thanks so much. Jaydee

This eventually turned into wheezing every night after dinner, coughing in the morning, then clear by mid-morning, which follows a natural cortisol rhythm, since cortisol is highest in the morning. I did a lot of online research and found that adding T3 relieves asthma in some people. Also, being low in cortisol can give you asthma. So, if this is asthma you're dealing with, once your adrenals start to improve and you can add thyroid, your symptoms should improve. So, what do ya do about it? As I understand it there are many conditions of the adrenals and for some it is better to let them heal on their own. I have not yet refined the cause of mine or narrowed down the type of adrenal insufficiency. I am just saying that I am in a place where I cannot make use of cortef just yet. I would at least like to understand what causes the histamine build up. Shoot..I do not even know how to articulate the question. jd **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Guest guest
Here is the connection.... Allergies Allergic reactions typically have an adrenal component. Most allergies involve the release of histamine and other pro-inflammatory substances (substances that produce inflammation). Cortisol, one of the primary hormones produced by the adrenal glands, is a strong anti-inflammatory (a substance that reduces inflammation). In fact, the amount of cortisol circulating in the blood is the key factor in controlling the level of inflammatory reactions in the body. For this reason proper adrenal function plays an important role in mediating the histamine release and inflammatory reactions that produce the symptoms experienced with allergies. With Adrenal Fatigue there is more of a tendency to experience allergies. The more histamine that is released, the more cortisol it takes to control the inflammatory response and the harder the adrenals have to work to produce more cortisol. The harder the adrenals have to work, the more fatigued they become and the less cortisol they produce, allowing histamine to inflame the tissues more. This vicious circle can lead to progressively deeper Adrenal Fatigue as well as to larger allergic reactions. It is therefore not surprising that people with food and environmental allergies commonly have weak adrenal function. Actively supporting the adrenals using the therapies described in _Adrenal Fatigue: the 21st Century Stress Syndrome_ (http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/products/adrenal_fatigue.php) by _Dr. _ (http://www.adrenalfatigue.org/drwilson.php) , and especially eliminating foods from the diet and exposure to substances that cause allergic or sensitivity reactions will help break this cycle improve adrenal function. Food allergens can interfere with daily functioning and become a profound stress on the adrenals, so it is important to track down and eliminate these food sensitivities and allergies in order to both decrease allergies and restore adrenal health. **************************************Check out AOL's list of 2007's hottest products. Guest guest
I have horrible sinus congestion in the morning and usually again around 4 in the afternoon - adrenals can cause this, but also your sex hormones can too!!! If my progesterone is too high I get all stuffed up or if the estrodial is too low too I guess.. SeaLady

You MUST do somehting if only to take the corerect vitamins to build them yup along wiht stopping the lifestyle that wrecked them. But the first step would be to find out how bad they are as usually when they are bad enough to cause symptoms they need actual treatment. I would suggest starting wiht a cortiosl saliva test which you can order your own from www.canaryclub.org -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
What they don't consider in this is just as important as what they are saying! That with PROPER levels of cortiosl many of these allergies would not be there at all. Thus you can avoid many if the allergies by treating the cortiosl and then building the adrenals to where they are capable of handling the load themselves. This si basically what we try to do here. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
