Guest guest
>>I KNOW this has been asked somewhere before, but I can't seem to locate the answer. Once you have stabilized temps, how long do you need to stay on the HC before beginning the Armour? << You need stable temps at least 3-4 days then SLOWLY add in Armoru 15mg at a time. Then as ong as temps are stable you can build at 15mg weekly incrreases till you get to 2.5 grains then slow the raises way down to eveyr 6 weeks and do labs ot see where you are. >>2nd Question: How do you know when to start reducing your HC?<< When you have NO adrenal symptoms and are at a perfect dose of thyroid, you can try to start weaning SLOWLY. It mist be done very gradually so your adrneals can pick back up and also to ease the stress as they will be tender for months after and maybe longer than that. Stress dose READILY if you feel you need to and let your body tell you when it is ready to lower more and you will be fine., >>PS for Val: I really do seem to be have stabilized my temps with 32.5 mg (total for the day) cortef. I've hit an average of 97.7 or 97.6 for three days in a row. Yeah! Thanks for your help. I hope you have a great Thanksgiving.<< YAY!!! Guest guest
>>I'm taking T3 and can't go without it. My temps dive to 95 and I feel horrible if I don't take it. I'm trying to figure out how to tell if I'm on enough adrenal support. My temps raise when I take the T3 (usually to 97.7 ish). With my temperature fluctuating how can I tell if I'm on adequate support? I know I'm not there yet, but I don't know how to tell when I am. If I take Isocort for a couple of weeks then add in 1/4 grain Armour with no difficulty, I guess I'm good. What will happen if I try to add the Armour and am not on enough support?<< I take T3 and MY temps don;t fluctuate. It shoudl not interfere with the temp graphing at all. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
Guest guest
Uh oh. I thought the fluctuations were because I'm taking the T3 at 7:30, 12:00, 4:00 and at bedtime. My temps rise about an hour afterwards then start going down again. Shoot, I didn't think that could be my adrenals. Thanks Val. I would have kept increasing the T3 dose thinking it was the T3. Thank you so much and Happy Thanksgiving!

They ar the day to day AVERAGE of the three temps you take using Dr Rind's temp graphing method whihc is VERY differnt. go to his site adn read the direction. www.drrind.com -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/ http://www.seewell4less.com/Valspage.htm Medical Alert Bracelets
