I take 20mg Zirtek when 10mg isn't working!! I've been doing this

for a few years now - my immunologist said it was far preferable than

resorting to oral steroids. It does give me side effects though -

I'm tired, somewhat inclined to be headachy - and boy do I have a dry

mouth during the night. I try to use it for just a week or so (one

tablet am, one pm) then go on to taking one and a half tablets daily,

then back to one. I guess without the side effects it would be very

effective indeed.
