Guest guest
, Since you are trying out HC cream, why not apply the cream to the itchy areas? Double whammy from the same dose. sol jasrich wrote: > I itch in between my shoulder blades and sometimes one or two fingers, > sometimes little itchy bumps on my torso, and sometimes my arms. Guest guest
, are you sure you aren't using too much? I used mine with measuring spoons and 10 mg is 1/4 teaspoon which is hardly anything. I rub it on my shins and it absorbs quickly. Cheri Re: Arm itching very badly at times Thought of that too Sol. Do you find that rubbing in 10mg worth of cream is a lot? I had to smear that stuff all over the place. I just ordered a scale, BTW, because I don't trust the dosing syringe either. . Guest guest
I only apply it over large areas, such as abdomen, trunk, hips, sometimes front of thighs. If I needed to apply it on forearms, I'd put just part of a dose. Maybe it is because of the large areas I use, or because my skin is so dry, but my skin just sucks it up. Unfortunately, I have a rather lot of abdomen on which to apply it, LOL. I can see it would take a bit of concnetrated rubbing to get a whole quarter teaspoon into one forearm. FWIW, my reason for abdomen/trunk is because that is where I get eczema. I've also put some on the bony area of my ankle, because I get itchies there too. So if I feel an itch at all, I put the next dose of cream where the itch is. I've had eczema and hives so bad that I admit I am completely paranoid about the least bit of a transient itch. Because eczema is " the itch that rashes " . Aside from all the above, I have itchy forearms a lot. It usually means I'm getting more iodine than I can handle, but can also mean I've gotten too much of another of my allergens. Extra antihistamine usually helps. I will be interested to know how you like the scale. Right now, my pennies are going to save up for aldosterone/renin tests and more antibody testing for Hashi's. I just this morning got a lead on a doctor who might do them. sol jasrich wrote: > Thought of that too Sol. Do you find that rubbing in 10mg worth of > cream is a lot? Guest guest
causing it. They drive me mad. I am coming in late on this thread so forgive me if I do not have the full grasp of the situatiion. I was just wondering if it would be helpful for symptomatic relief to use an antihistamine? Guest guest
Val, I have this same thing also. Little bumps on the top of my arms. Sometimes some of them are like zits but most small and itchy. I use soap from the health food store. Dosen't matter what I use they are still there. Bernetta -- Re: Arm itching very badly at times Just want to say that I also have very itchy upper arms & often across the top of my back as well. They sometimes feel a little lumpy but generally just itch. It is always worse when I get into bed, & sometimes during the evening as well. I am very careful with washing machine liquid & do not use the supermarket stuff, so it is not that causing it. They drive me mad. Val It isn't all the time, but I don't know about the thyroid levels because I am concentrating on getting my temps stable before I start changing my thyroid meds.
