Guest guest
, Connor is doing well. Seems to have some inflammation from the Colistin which is giving him an occasional dry cough but not enough to worry about. It's so nice to be back on track and not be constantly worrying. I now have him on the herbal remedy crataegus and have been able to reduce his enzymes as his poo's are near perfect. It should also be doing miracles with his lungs but I guess only time will tell. I'm not looking forward to our next clinic visit as I dont want him on Coli for longer than a month. I have been very busy with my family day care - I have two familes/three children definitely starting next week and possibly another family with four girls! It's taken me a while to get the care I wanted and now I almost have to much! Of course I'll see how it all goes with Connor and cut back if I have to. is walking around in a daze as I told him no TV for at least a couple of nights per week - hang on, he just turned it on. I knew it wouldn't last. It is so peaceful when the boys are asleep and we have some good music playing. Better go. I've got to get Tax stuff organised so we can get that money the government owes us! Kristy PS Did you see the Target Toy sale starting tomorrow??? (do you have Target up there?) I'm going as soon as the doors open as there are good bargains - X-mas presents!
Guest guest
Kristy, If Connor cultured pseudo. or if they are treating him for it anyway then he might stay on it for three months as that is the standard treatment. Yes we have Target not far away. I sent my brother in to get mix 6 Bionicals as Liam has 6 birthdays to go to in the next two weekends so I'm stocking up. Re: Kristy > , > Connor is doing well. Guest guest
, I'm not totally sure if they are treating it as PA - it seem like they're doing half and half. They're keeping an eye on how he is going and will decide at the end of the month whether to continue or not. I'm desperately hoping that as he's done so well, that they'll leave it there. Anyway, I'm now getting to the stage where I am taking more control over his healthcare and not taking everything his doctors say so maybe I will go against their decision. Of course it all depends or their decision. If they um and arr about it then I'll say no as I feel it's doing harm as it's making him have a dry cough which I'm sure is not good for his airways. Anyway, we'll see. I went to Target at 8:30 Saturday morning, thinking I was early and it was packed!! I was going to layby a heap of stuff but as the line was from one end to the other I just bought it all. And I got everything I wanted so it was worthwhile. Guest guest
Kristy, We were always told that a dry cough especially whilst having the mask is fine as when they cough they are moving the mucus, so don't worry about the dry cough. Never thought we could have such intense chats about coughs! I never went near target as I did it once and did the same I paid for it all and even then it was a line up Re: Kristy > , > I'm not totally sure if they are treating it as PA - it seem like they're doing half and half.
