I know, Rubie. Time does go fast! happy 4th. Did you know boxers sweat off lbs

of weight in 20 minutes to qualify for bouts? (by strenuous exercise).

I'm having a feeling I have to cut my diet down a little. I'm not seeing the

results I want to. This week will be my 4th week and really I've only seen 2lbs

gone, so I went over with Rob how we can get rid of a few starches and be more

careful. I'm feeling healthier and have upped the exercise. I can see that I'm

not doing enough though. XXXMarge

Way to go Marge! And technically, you lost 1.5 pounds in only 5 days, since

you changed your weigh in day!

thanks :-) ha! I felt really good about that. So now it's 5lbs. It's starting to

be enough to feel, which is extremely cool. My stomach has shrunk a little too,

now I get full faster. XXXMarge

Teri205/202/140 5ft'7in

thanks :-), at first I didn't think I'd get myself to do it 7 days, but actually

I think it made it easier, then it was more of a habit, without the day off.

LOL, thanks, Lucee. I have to admit, it made me be diligent all day Friday. I

made more menus for myself too. I think I was getting a little bored with the

food routine I had. XXXMarge

thanks, Elana. I started June 9. It's cool to see my little stars in my journal

starting to accumulate. I've been slowly adding to my exercise routine over the

hello there i weighed in at work this morning. it said 198.5 and

mini goal of 175 by chrismtas. i bought some new shorts, one size

lower than i usually wear. that was cool. but i had some pretty bad

choices this weekend and still lost, so it can be done. to everyone

who hasn't lost-keep going. to those of us who have, let's keep it

up, and to all those newcomers, welcome.

Hiya Nan,

I'm sorry about your husband's aunt. I don't even bother weighing myself

during TOM, so don't worry about that for now.

Take care and I look forward to hearing from you when you get back!

hi elana, i have had a very bad day, not exercising,

will not get on until i feel ready to accept what the

scale says. my husband's aunt died and tomorrow is the

service, so am not sure when i will be going back on

here. hope to be back by friday. maybe i will have

something good to report then. thanks for the

encouragement.

Hey Nan, welcome back : ) I'm sorry about the mix-up with the funeral.

Ugh-how unpleasant! I've actually been to 2 funerals where they had

collages instead of a viewing-both for young people. One was for a

friend murdered on 9/11.

Don't worry about the scale today. With the funeral and your TOM, you

had enough going on. Maybe you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Glad you're back!

thanks autumn, the service was fine. she wasn't even

there-the coronor did not release the body in time, so

we had no viewing, which was okay too. they had a nice

collage of her pictures. i have not weighed yet, but

will tomorrow morning-gulp. not sure what it will say,

but i made it all week without stepping on the

scale-but i think it out of fear. will let you know.

how are things with you? hope good. til tomorrow-

Okay all. I did it. My weight on my adoring scale was 175 lbs! Whoo-Hoo!

Okay, but it is off from the doctors by at least 8 lbs, maybe as much as

14. Yet only off from my kids' doctors scale by 4-5 lbs. Don't ask. Point

is, I have gone down!

I wish everyone the best today!
