Guest guest
Galen, As usual, you have put things in perspective - you're good at it. I completely agree with your message. Also, I think I was just trying to put out a smoldering fire, and I did it with gasoline. I want to apologize to everyone I may have offended, I was just trying to avert another war, and I may have caused one. Let's just change the subject............. > I really don't care if folks want to include their religious beliefs in > this group. I, too, like to hear from other areas/beliefs, and I hope it continues also. My concern was for those who may post from a culture where the actual word " Christian " in an email may get them into trouble, because they do not have the freedom that many of us have. I don't believe for a minute that you would censor another poster. I realize and appreciate that this is an international forum. I learn everytime I read from an international post as well as the posts from this continent. What people discuss here helps us all to understand what we do on a day to day basis. I enjoy the variety. I also understand that some people will be offended by anything that doesn't support their belief, but feel that if someone offends me by their words or beliefs, I don't want to see them leave the list. I want open and often, frank discussion on what is bothering people, whether it is the lack of a cure, who is halting legislation that will help us, or the rudeness of people. Agree to disagree sounds good to me. I want people to stay on the list and I also respect their right to leave for whatever the reason. Peace, Thom <>< > Thom, > > I guess you could say I am one of those pushing to censor according to > your definition but that is not what I am trying to do.
