Dear Andy,

Don't let anyone tell you that GOD doesn't answer prayers, because HE

most surely does.....we've been praying for you since the day you went

into the hospital for your operation! :0)

You've lost quite a bit of weight in a short time. The way I figure it,

you've lost about 1.5 lbs a day.....you can't expect to do any better

than that.....that is amazing in my book.

Take it easy, rest and gain back all your strength and welcome back!

In His Love,

Ruth K (still thinking about surgery).

Andy - It is so great to hear from you. You had quite an ordeal. Be

careful with that weighing so much. It can be discouraging. Take care.

WELCOME HOME, ANDY!!

My goodness, you've really got a story to tell...a success story! We

are all sooo greatful that you've made it to the other side. Like

everyone else said...sip your water, protein shakes, and rest up.

Gentle hugs,

Andy, so glad to know you're on the mend. Though I mostly lurk and rarely

post I have made sure to check the list every day for word about how you are

doing. There were a lot of folks praying for you and your family during your

surgery and afterward.

Hang in there with the depression. From what I understand it is completely

normal and a process most everyone goes through immediately after surgery,

especially once we really 'feel' like eating again and cannot.

I've not had my surgery yet (2 weeks to go) but anticipate feeling just what

you're feeling now. I am frightened by how much I know I will mourn the food.

I just pray I can find the strength and think that, when the time comes, I

somehow will.

Be good and take care of yourself and please keep posting when you can. :o)

Hi ~ and Happy belated Birthday! You're very kind. No, I don't have

an angel, but it's okay ~ I'm not really a regular poster. More of an

addicted lurker, one might say. :o)

Take care,
