By then, though, you should be stable, unless something goes very wrong. I inferred that he was speaking about the fact that he didn't want you to be in over memorial day weekend right after the surgery. If you don't feel like you can make May 11th, as though that is too rushed, then take May 18th. Or, flip a coin, and see if your gut instinct agrees with the coin's choice. Or if your gut prefers the other option. Sometimes this helps me clarify what I really feel. Guest guest
Thanks Mara.. > Or, flip a coin, and see if your gut instinct agrees with the coin's > choice. I am going to clarify some more things with my docs this week and based on that I will decide and if I still can't I will flip a coin. > > I am just kind of venting. > > Choosing a date just seems so final and makes me kind of breakdown > > and want to puke. > > Well, it may come to that, but even if it does, you'll move beyond it. > > > I am starting some mind/body work this week, I hope it will help me > > cope. > > Good for you. Guest guest
Thanks PJ, This diet has been wonderful for me getting some awful symptoms under control including not suffering from Anemia the first time since I am 10 years old. Unfortunately, I have just way too much scar tissue and severe stricturing including a mass in my ascending colon that cannot be biopsied because the stricture is so bad the scopes can't go through. I am not a candidate for ballooning the strictures either. Anyway, I will know more about mind body work next week and I am proud of myself that I am getting this kind of help. Woohoo Jodi, if I may say so myself. Thanks for the well wishes! Jodi > Hi Jody, I am new here and I don't have any good advice about scheduling surgery. I just wanted to send you best wishes, as this has to be stressful. What kind of mind body work are you trying? I hope it helps you. I also hope the surgery goes well and that you have a speedy recovery. > PJ
