the doctors office called today and said that my LP results are in.

He said that the results showed that I have Lupus induced Transverse Myelitis.

He said that I have to start a month of prednisone and at the end of the month they will repeat the MRI to recheck the spinal lesion. then decide if they can taper me off the prednisone or not.

I'm sure you don't want this dx, but it is an answer and I know how long you've been waiting for one. I'm always here for you when you need a friend. Just send me a message and I'm there for you, ok?

Please keep me posted on how things are going. Be careful that the steroids don't cause you other problems.

I don't really know anything about this condition, but I sure hope the

pred does the trick for you. I found this website that you may find

I'm sure you are stunned by this test result. Bug is on this list and she too has Lupus with Mito. I certainly hope the predisone treatment is helpful.
