Guest guest
Bernie, it could be the combination of all the drugs causing you to feel so weird. When's the last time you saw your Cardio guy in Cincinnati? Does he know you are feeling exhausted and that you've lost interest in everything you used to enjoy? If not, I think you should tell him. And if you have told him but he didn't offer you any solutions, I think you need to find another Cardio guy. How about seeing an EP - Electro Physiologist? They specialize in what we have. Bernie, there are lots of options to treat this. Maybe Rhythmol is not the right medication for you; there are many others you could try, such as Flecanide, Tikosyn, Sotalol, to name a few. There is also a procedure called ablation that you could check into. You don't have to live with the horrible side-effects you are experiencing. Perhaps you've already suspected that alcohol, tobacco and caffeine are known triggers for a-fib. I know, hard to give up, especially if it's the last thing you have to enjoy, in your present lifestyle. Sometime I'd like to hear about sunny Cuba. Keep in the fight, man. You have a complex problem because you job probably tells you who your doctor will be and that you have to take his direction . Just a guess. This probably means you need to plan carefully how to manage your career and how to deal with AF in the context of the military Doctor's instructions. I have had some experiance with medication causing difficulty and with exercise induced AF and alcohol as a trigger. Regards
