Guest guest
Dear Lee, Choosing where to go must be a difficult decision. I had only one choice due to the complexity of my condition. I live near Nyack, New York and New Jersey is less than a mile from our house. You may want to consider Dr. Grant Simons at Englewood Hospital. He also studied with Dr. Natale. Englewood has the most sophisticated equipment available as they are making heart procedures a top priority. Dr. Simons isn't hesitant to take on the most difficult cases (including mine). I had over a dozen places to be ablated, rather than the usual two or three. I also have a fifth pulmonary vein, rather than the usual four. I am afib free and med free, for the last 3 years. Best wishes,
Guest guest
Lee in NJ you should without a doubt, meet Larry Chinitz of the Rhythm Clinic of NYU. He is said to be as good or if not better than Dr. Natale. (a personal buddy of his) (personally I think Natale is over rated, really) If you want more information do feel free to email me personally. Having met and interviewed 6 EPs in Manhattan and having the long relationship I do have with Larry Chinitz- I would pick him all over again and his team. Just my 2 cents. :-) -Ronnie

You never know when you need another opinion, or possibly feel you have become just another number in the doc's file. Thanks so much!
