Guest guest
Hello all. My question is simply this: are ablations at the point in their development where they are very effective and relatively safe? I'd hate to have one done and come out worse than when I went in; ie: pacemaker.

My impression is in another five years, the answer to that will be yes for the top people in the field. Right now they're 80-90% of the way there. They're still working out the kinks in the procedures, and learning which is the best way, etc.
