I have the lindamood bell lips program. I think it's good, but the software

was awful. Truly awful. Hey - I'll sell it to you cheap. :-) I have the

mouth pictures but I am sure they are copyrighted. I felt like they weren't

exact enough for the vowels, so I made my own vowel pictures I could email

to you, if you'd like. You could see how easy it is to make your own.

I was looking into this as an option for later in the summer - not the

software, but actually going to a class. I've met the therapist / teacher (she's

both) and was very impressed, and she seemed to think my son, who's 5 and has

some signs of oral dyspraxia, would be a good match. Did you try the class

before

you went with the software? Has anyone else enrolled in one of these classes?

I'd love to get some feedback, as it's a pretty hefty investment.

Best,

Hi ,

About mood-Bell and more:

One of the best pages I found for multisensory language programs

including the Spalding method (Writing Road to Reading) you speak

of is here

http://www.ldonline.org/ld_indepth/reading/mssl_methods.html

Actually there are many programs talked about at this link that are

wonderful! I again suggest to all of you to print this out and save

it in your child's file just in case. Links don't always work for

ever, or even for the year it takes for you to need it.

Hi ,

I was not even aware that there was a software. I was looking into it per

the advice of the Speech Therapist in teaching my son (autistic, non-verbal)

reading and sounds. She suggested using mouth pictures first instead of

real letters.

I am very interested in your vowel pictures. My email is

ginam@...

Thanks,
