Have been battling back to back colds or something all summer, and I almost never get sick-sick. Seems to be a very bad bug out there. I have been on two antiobiotics. First one was Avelox, which knocked me out.Second was the Z pack. After taking the first two pills, I felt so much better, and am now pretty much back to normal.Didn't have any of the symptoms you descibe, though. What does your doctor say? Guest guest
> Has anyone else experienced this? I caught a viral or bacterial sinus infection infection last Thurs. Went to the MD and got prescribed a Z Pack of antibiotic. Also a cough suppressant laced with hydrocodone--which made me very drowsy. Had to go to a specialist's meeting in Washington (held today, travelled yesterday). Dozed mostly for the duration of the two flight legs. Upon arrival in DC I was very light-headed on rising. Also could not walk for more than an estimated 100 feet with my overnight bag without needing to stop and rest. Shelby, Some antibiotics and some cough medicines are afib or ectopic triggers, also some cough medicines induce drowsiness. Which antibiotics are a problem seem to vary from person to person. Ciro is a problem for me.
