Is the surgery very invasive? What's the recovery time? Do you know if spinal

anesthesia can be used? I'm terrified to be put out and I never have been.

I think it depends where it is but they have to cut through the skin

and fat layers to get to the muscle that needs to be repaired. He

had a scar about the same as an appendix operation. Was off work two

weeks but only because he is a tradesman and sometimes does heavy work
