Guest guest
Val: I was doing fine on 2.5 grains of Armour until the fall weather hit (I live in the north), and then when the temp outside dropped, so did mine! Now I have increased thyroid to 3.5 mg of Armour and still can barely get my temps above 98.2, the highest during the day. They are now averaging about 98 over the course of three days. My temps are stable on 22.5 mg of HC, just not as high as it was during the summer (98.6). My BP also increases when I stand, so I know the HC dose is fine. I am also noticing some other signs of hypo (dry cuticles, dry heels, tiredness). Is this something that you see happen to people who live in cold winter climates? Should I continue to increase the Armour until my temp gets to normal? And if so, how much should I increase how often? I vaguely remember something about specific directions to increasing Armour once you get to the 3 grain dose, but I don't remember what it was. I appreciate your help.
