Top Doc wants me to decrease HC?

My Top Doc's nurse called me back and he said that I should stop

taking the DHEA (I'm only on 10mg/day, but that's fine), and to

decrease my dose and change my dosing schedule for HC - from

7.5,5,2.5,5 at bedtime, to 10,5,5 at 4PM and then just 10 and 5 at

noon - nothing after 4PM at any rate. From everything that I have

learned here, decreasing HC and going with these schedules is not

likely to work for me. Also, forgetting about the night time attacks

for a minute, the GI/IBS symptoms have gone through the roof over the

past 48 hours and I added the 1/4 grain of Armour 72 hours ago. I

asked if I should decrease the Armour again and they said no. It

seems to me that I'm reducing the wrong thing - I should probably

reduce the Armour back to 1 grain again (or even less) and keep on

with 20 or more of HC, but they're going by what I said which is that

the night-time attacks never happened before HC (which is correct).

The hell of it is that my temps say that I should be able to go up on

the Armour - except for the day that I added the 1/4 grain and they

spiked a little, they've been stable at around 97.7 - 97.8 every day

for a week. The GI/IBS, bloating, headache, etc tell a different story

though - this is how I felt when I tried to go up by 1/2 grain without

adrenal support.

I believe that I'm likely to get worse on this advice, not better.

Sorry for the length of this post, I'm trying to think through

reconciling what I feel and what I have been told to do by the doc.

Val, what do you think?

Thanks and sorry for being a pest lately.
