I have tried using epsom salts in a bath, 5 years ago when I was dealing with a systemic candida overgrowth, but my skin reacted to the salt in a bad way (broke out in a rash, everywhere the water touched...). I did repeat the attempt 2 years ago just to see if it would help in a general way (no longer had candida/yeast overgrowth) but my skin reacted the same way. So no soaking in epsom salts for me. I rarely take a bath anyway, preferring a shower, because my skin doesn't tolerate soaking in soap that long. In other words, it's not just the salt that causes the bad reaction.

I know, I have weird problems [grin]. I do have unusually thin skin, according to my dermatologist. So it's not surprising that it reacts quickly. It is just a bit frustrating at times.

Hi, Kimhope you are currently feeling well.I wonder if you have tried soaking in a salt, eg epsom salt, and if the amount absorbed by the skin is enough to help.best,Ruth
