Connor had his tenotomy on Friday. We weren't allowed to go in with

him and we could hear him crying. She came out a bit later and asked

me to feed him as he was hungry, that was when we realised they

hadn't even done him yet!!! When they did do him he really cried and

cried even more when they were putting the plaster on. He was all red

and very stressed!! I don't know how they say it can't hurt because

obviously it does. Anyway 24 hours later he was ok again. Not napping

as often as he was I don't know if that has anything to do with it.

We weighed his casts after each one and without the bandaging they

are between 5 & 6 oz each. They also cut right round his toes so they

are free and straight to wiggle, so there is definately no mashing

there. He will be having the casts off in 2 weeks time and going into

the shoes which she said would probably be a 000 as he has very small

feet.
