Guest guest
Hi all I have a question about blood sugar which I am looking for help on. I have recently bought a blood sugar meter, and have been tracking my glucose to find out what's going on. Bizarrely, I have high fasting blood sugar (around 120) which comes DOWN after a meal to around 100. This happens throughout the day - high blood sugar before a meal, lower after a meal. It doesn't make sense to me. I take 6.5mg of Pred and Armour / T3. My theory is that because the Pred lasts longer in the blood, I have a higher level of cortisol and thus glucose before a meal, which then comes down after I have eaten. Could this happen? Anyone got any insight? thanks Nicola
