Guest guest
Hi Annie, just had to jump in here and ask what form of iron you took and how long- if you don't mind my asking. I have low f. Thank's Pat RE: Great Ferratin news -- and a question HI group. Just wanted to report that I managed to get my Ferratin up from 18 to 72 by following the advice on STTM and especially from Janie. So I wanted to say THANK YOU!!! I now wonder if I was mostly just anemic all the years I felt so hypo. . . . So here is my question. Now that the ferratin is up to 72 and I feel great, do I need to stay on iron to keep it here? Does it need to go higher? If I need to keep taking iron, how much do I take? Thanks!! Guest guest
Hi Pat. I worked up to about 8 pills a day of an iron pill called Fergon (ferrous gluconate). I had not a single issue with it. I was a little worried about hurting my liver with that high of dose or iron but seeing as how I have not been steered wrong one time by STTM, I took their advice and raised my Ferratin over a 6 month period. I am not sure if they help your adrenals in any way but I feel that all of the supplementation I did and still do that helped my adrenals handle the Armour. I am on 4 grains.
