Guest guest
I am completely baffled with my saliva results. I have a sneaking suspicion that they have my vials mixed with another. Here's why. I have hashi's. My TPO antibodies were well over 1000 when diagnosed. The lowest they have been is 550 approx. 9 months ago. These results suggest I am testing negative. Here goes: COrtisol a.m. 31 (elevated) range 13-24 noon 30 (elevated) 5-10 afternoon 5 (normal) 3-8 midnight 6 (elevated) 1-4 Well, I did take a few puffs on an inhaler a day or two before these tests (I had a bad cold and the cough is still lingering), so perhaps the elevation is due to that? WHo knows, but I am typically around 15-18 in the early morn via blood serum. Okay, here's the weird and worrisome stuff: DHEA 3 (borderline low) 3-10 estradiol 9 range for luteal 7-20 (seems bit low for a 36 year old) NOW GET THIS ONE Progesterone 943 range luteal 65-500 (NO, I am not on BHRT). Why is that so high?? Because my DHEA is low, this would essentially rule out PCOS and I don't have any of those symptoms anyway except mild acne. Testosterone >200 (elevated 0 like off the charts) range 8-20. WHAT? This can't possibly be this high? WOuld I be growing a beard. I do have mild acne and some hair thinning at the receding line only. fTSH 113 (borderline high) " normal " 26-85 (weird because body temp is 98.2-98.7) free t4 .19 (normal) .17-.42 (looks low to me) free t3 .31 (normal) .28 - 1.1 (again, looks low to me) I normally do not function if the above levels are even mid range, so I don't get how I am functioning with those levels and ACTUALLY, I thought I was going to be OVER the range a bit on the frees, with a low TSH. TPO NEGATIVE (Okay folks, I have hashi's and that has been off the charts every single time I have been tested. Are they telling me I no longer have antibodies lol??? These labs were a total shock and I don't quite understand them. I am trying to figure out if I messed them up a bit. I did drink ice tea (forgot no caffeine). Don't know. I am stumped. Anybody shed some light here? Could they have made such an error as to interpret the wrong vials?? Thanks kindly!
Guest guest
I can only comment on the progesterone one. I really am seriously questioning the accuracy of Diagnos Tech in that regard if people have adrenal fatigue. My Progest reading was over 1000, I was not on HRT nor had been for several years AND I was suffering from low progesterone symptoms and estrogen dominance symptoms. I actually decided to ignore the test and start supplementing with progesterone cream...and I feel a thousand times better. I will see what my next test shows but there is something weird with these super high progesterone readings that a lot of people using Diagnos tech are getting when they have adrenal issues. Either it is not accurate, or it is telling us something else about our bodies and adrenals that I cannot quite figure out yet. I also had very low DHEA ( " 1 " ) on my test. Cheri I run the Hashi's board & now I need some help on saliva tests please! I am completely baffled with my saliva results. DHEA 3 (borderline low) 3-10 NOW GET THIS ONE Progesterone 943 range luteal 65-500 (NO, I am not on BHRT). Why is that so high??
