After tommorow I can take no HC because I need to be two weeks clear to get a accurate cortisol test. I was on the 50 mgs' of Pred. So am i just going ot have to tough it out. I do have some pain medication iif I am in tooo much pain because I get alot of pain they thought was Fibromylagia, but the doc is really thinking noiw it is very low cortisol. Without HC or Pred. I am SO tired and in pain. I can deal another two weeks since this has been going on so long but is there acan I do the salt thing or just tough it out? What you need is a steady replacement of the cortiosl your body is not making. For this Hydrocortisone in doses of 20-35MG daily is the BEST way to treat it as it dfoesn't shut down your own production of cortiosl . that 50MG Pred dose will totally supress your own cortiosl, and your adrenals. Whether they can come back from that is DOUBTFUL.
