Re: what's your optimal HC dose?

I take my first dose when I wake up. Usually 6 or 6:30 AM (but could be

as late as 8 AM). Then I go 4 hours to the next dose, 4 hours, four hours

and bedtime. If My first dose IS at 8 AM or later I combine the last two &

take 5 mg at bedtime.

It's funny, when I first started HC I could feel it when I needed the

next dose, and sometimes it was only 3.5 hr. Now after a couple of months

on it I feel so much better I often forget to take it till the 5th hour. I

do try to keep to the 4 hour schedule, though.

Thanks! I do pretty much the same as you are doing, so I guess my dosing

isn't totally nuts. Getting up at different times of day really throws

me, as if doses are due at different times than the day or days before,

I get all mixed up.

As usual one answer leads to the next question hope you don't mind---

when you used to feel the need for the next dose, what symptoms did you

feel?

I read and re-read which symptoms are adrenal and which thyroid, but I

still can't say I can tell what I should be looking for with HC. And

with hypo, now, I do get headaches, and they go away when I take my next

dose of T3, but I don't have anything that clear with HC to tell if my

doses are close enough together, too far apart, etc.

And when you do have to combine the last two 2.5 mg doses, does that 5

mg still keep you awake?

thanks again,

sol
