It controls how much sodium your body keeps or loses. Symtpoms of it being low are sweating, low sodium, pupil fluctuations, fast heart rate, and inability to stabilize temps with cortisoll replacemnent, low blood pressure and sometimes high. Renin is a kidney hormone the stimulates Aldosterone production, when it is normal to high and Aldosterone is low , it means ADRENAL problems, but if renin and aldosterone are both low it usually points ot pituitary problems. -- Artistic Grooming- Hurricane WV http://www.stopthethyroidmadness.com/ http://health.groups.yahoo.com/group/NaturalThyroidHormonesADRENALS/
