So far down to half a dose (5mg), some deeply unpleasant nights when I

tried to come down too quickly. Withdrawal symptoms are basically

adrenal - and with my pathetically weak adrenals you can imagine what

it's like....

Oh I have been there, more than once, and understand what you have been

going through.

10% maximum reduction is usually what's recommended by sensible people

(usually patient groups).

And then wait until you feel stabilised, don't go by a set scedule is what I

mean. But then you will know that.

I have started to take somethng called Atarax which was recommended by one

of the moderators and it is working well for me. You can take it in larger

amounts for insomnia and small amounts as a tranquiliser. It is similar to this

antihistamine type things you can buy in the chemist and which I have been

using for about a year. They make me feel very groggy next morning but these

seem not to.

I also used 5HTP and Valerian, adding in a little more of either or both of

them as I made each reduction in the benzo.

Worked for me. Good luck with it.

I am still struggling to get optimised. D'ya know, I would not know what to

do with myself if suddenly it all came right for me, I have spent my entire

time for two and half years now working on this aspect of things LOL

Well ya gotta laff right?

Mo x
